Impressions of the [What's Eating Gilbert Grape]

我最近一个星期内，一连看了10部电影。我认为看电影能使我体会到人生的千姿百态。例如，[What's Eating Gilbert Grape]导演：莱塞·霍尔斯道姆。这部电影中，主人公Gilbert 有一个姐姐，一个妹妹和一个弟弟还有一个超级肥胖的妈妈。17年前，因为爸爸在家里的地下室上吊而死。妈妈压力太大，所以，放弃人生，每天坐在沙发上除了看电视就是吃。家务都是由姐姐来做。故事主要是围绕低智商的弟弟而展开，Gilbert 从来都没出过小镇，因为要照顾低智商的弟弟，以及维护爸爸留下的旧房子。所以一直在镇上的小百货店里打工。经常要给客户送货上门，还跟一主妇扯上了关系。但最终，Gilbert 遇到心仪的女孩，女孩是从外地来和奶奶一起开着野营车，途中经过Gilbert 住的小镇，车坏掉待修理，所以暂时住了下来。主妇的老公因溺水而死，所以主妇带孩子离镇而去。他们的关系也就此不了了之.Gilbert的弟弟因为智商低，总给Gilbert 惹麻烦，经常爬镇上的储水塔。有一次还给警察带走了，弄得从不离开沙发的肥胖妈妈出动到警察局,将低智商儿子接我了出来,旁观的人也不少.还有一次,Gilbert和女孩约会,到了傍晚不得不回去给弟弟洗澡，将弟弟放入浴缸洗完后，递了浴巾给弟弟，叫他自己擦。还没来得及给他擦身体，就跑回约会地点去了。很晚回来倒床就睡。第二天发现弟弟在浴缸带了一整晚。从此以后就怕水，不爱洗澡。直到弟弟18岁生日前天晚上，Gilbert不得不逼着弟弟洗澡，但弟弟不依，到处乱跑。弄得Gilbert发火打了弟弟后离家出走了。弟弟去到了Gilbert的女朋友野营车附近，被她看到了，带她到河边去玩，她自己跳进河里，想借机让他弟弟也来河里，他弟弟爬到树上，不小心掉进河里。被偷偷跑过来的Gilbert看到，欣慰了许多。也刚好被正在找弟弟的家人看到了接了回去。Gilbert的女朋友也被邀请参加生日聚会，因为她的野营车已被修好带出发。Gilbert回来跟弟弟和好，也跟妈妈认了错。之后带女朋友见了妈妈。当天妈妈出奇意外的爬到二楼的床上休息，就那样子一睡不起去了他界。Gilbert就此烧掉房子带着弟弟，搭女朋友的野营车去了。故事就此结束了。

看完此电影后，我深感惭愧。因为我老家里有一个同样的低智商的姑姑和我们住一起，在她小的时候，打预防针给弄错了，之后就变得不会说话也不会自理了。爷爷还在的时候还经常给她洗澡，爷爷也身体不便，年轻的时候帮邻居家盖瓦，摔断了右腿，也没根治好，走路都是一拐一拐的。在我读初中一年级的时候爷爷生病去世了。现在想起来都挺伤感的。姑姑也很可怜，没人照顾。爸爸妈妈要忙农活，我虽然初中一年级后就辍学在家，也懒得理她。一天到晚除了看小说，给猪拔草，放牛捡柴煮饭外，其它什么都不爱做，特别懒惰。也正好是青春期，总是幻想着未来。姑姑虽然活着着，也没能享受生活，也没有生命的意义。这就是她的命运吗？我也只能感叹她的人生！

 Recently in a week,I was watched a series of 10 movies . I think the movie will make me appreciate the different styles of life. For example,The movie [What's Eating Gilbert Grape] Director: Lasse Hallström.  the hero Gilbert has a old sister, a younger sister and a brother and a super-obese mother. 17 years ago, because Gilbert's father died hanged in the basement of the house. Gilbert's Mom has too much pressure, so give up life, in addition to sitting on the couch watching TV every day is to eat. Housework is done by old sister. The story is mainly about the developmental disability his brother, Gilbert had never been out of town, because he have to take care of his brother, and to repairing of the old house his father left to him . He has been working in the town of General Merchandise store. Often give the customer delivery. In addition, Gilbert is having an affair with a house wife.But in the end, Gilbert met favorite girl, the girl was from out of town and grandmother together drove the camper, on the way through town, the car is broken, has to be repaired,so temporarily live in the town.so she met Gilbert they two have feelings ,always hanging around. the Housewife's husband died due to drowning, so housewives with children away from the town. Their relationship ended has nothing .Gilbert brother because of developmental disability, always give Gilbert trouble, often climb the town's water storage tower. Once take away by the police, makes the obese mother who never leave the couch,they went to the police station, to get her son back.one day Gilbert was dating , in the evening he has to give his brother a bath , get brother into the bathtub after washing, he handed a towel to his brother and told him to rub himself. He has not had time to rub his body, Gilbert go back to dating . and Back home late . The next day his brother was found in a bathtub all night long. Since then afraid of water, does not like to take a bath. as soon as his Brother turn to 18th years old birthday, until the night before, Gilbert had to push his brother to take a bath, but his brother, running around dislike to do it. made Gilbert  angry ,after the fight Gilbert ran away from home. his Brother went to the camper near Gilbert's girlfriend trailer, she saw him was coming to her so she take him to the river to play, she jumped into the river to take the opportunity to let his brother also came to the river, his brother climb on a tree, not accidentally fell into the river. Gilbert sneak over and saw him was well,that makes Gilbert calm down .Also his family is looking for him and then they take him home. Gilbert's girlfriend has also been invited to the birthday party,due to she's trailer has been repaired and ready to go. Gilbert came back home and make it up with his brother, but also tell her mother he was made a mistake. After that Gilbert let her mother met his girlfriend. that day his Mother surprisingly unexpected climb on the second floor to have a rest,she was passed away that day. Gilbert burned this house,and take his brother to wait for his girlfriend's trailer to go with her. The story thus concluded.
After watching this film, I am deeply ashamed. Because I have an Aunt who is developmental disability and we live together before. when she was a child,she been injected vaccination wrong, then she can not speak either can't take care of herself.  my grandfather was often give her a bath, when my grandfather was a young man,he  broke his right leg to help neighbor tiling,did not cure well, so he can't walk well.grandfather  sick  died .when i was in junior high school. Now I think of it all kind of sad.my poor Aunt lost her father , no one to take care of her. Mom and Dad been busy farm work, although the junior high school I dropped out after a year at home, do not bother her. In addition to reading novels all day long, weeding pigs and cattle ,gather wood for cooking. I was especially lazy. Also it happens to be adolescent, always imagined future. Although my aunt is alive, but she did not enjoy her life, This is her fate? I can only sigh her life!
